Honey-hued cabinetry and white ceramic tile provide the backdrop for a classic blend in spacious proportion. This fortunate homeowner has a well-designed, functional kitchen in which to prepare meals as guests linger at the adjacent eating area or sun porch.
Comfort and use are evident throughout, with several prep areas to work from, including the center island, which features a secondary sink and custom bar stool seating. Ample cabinetry ensures a clean, uncluttered look. Glass-fronted uppers with lighted interiors, and touches of gleaming brass provide sparkling accents. Angled end units assist in a smooth transition to the eating area and sun porch. The brass light fixture was a serendipitous find of the homeowner: its shape mimics that of the island.
